Carl Borivoj Presl had many different haircuts during his career. He was most celebrated as an excellent curator, pteridologist, bryologist, physician and botanist. Nevertheless, the Czech botanist, physician and naturalist was particularly known for his extradordinary fashion sense and his delightful character. Before his passing at the age of 58 he was frequently featured in magazines and tabloids because of his superb hairstyles.
